FY26 Year End Report now open (10/1/2026)

The purpose of the FY26 IDEA Year-End Report is to capture and document the Local Education Agency’s (LEA) special education activities and expenditures for the first 12 months of the fiscal year, covering the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

What expenses are included recorded on the Year End Report? 

•All special education expenditures that have been reimbursed through Grants4ME as of June 30th (end of year 1) – Fund 2470 (5-22) and Fund 2510 (3-5). 07/01/2025-06/30/2026
 
The Year End Report will collect and verify other information including:

*Parentally Placed Private School Students
*Equipment- with a $10,000 single item threshold
*Maintenance of Effort 
*Excess Cost
*Coordinating Early Intervention Services

All reports are due 10/31/2026


FY26 ESEA Performance Report is Open! (10/1/2026)

The FY26 ESEA Performance Report pages are now available in the FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application and are due on 11/2/2026. All invoices for the school administrative unit (SAU) must be completed for expenditures through 09/30/2026 before the performance report is submitted. Register for ESEA monthly office hour held on Tuesday, October 13 at 9 AM which will focus on the FY26 ESEA Performance Report.

Whether you're new to the role or looking to sharpen your skills, the Bootcamp offers useful tools, guidance, and real-world insight you can put to work right away. 

Join us on the third Wednesday of the month, beginning in September for an hour of focused learning. Bootcamp will be held: 
  • Wednesday October 21, 2026 from 10 - 11 am 
  • Wednesday November 18, 2026 from 10 - 11 am
