Released Funding - Next Steps (8/6/2025)

As noted in a recent priority notice, the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) has released funding for Title II, Part A, Title III, Part A, and Title IV, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). As a result, the ESEA Federal Programs Team has generated and loaded final SAU allocations for these programs into your FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application within Grants4ME. Due to the notable delay in the release of these funds from the U.S. DOE, the deadline for the initial submission of the FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application has been extended to September 1, 2025.

With the release of these funds, there are a handful of notable updates that SAUs may need to make in order to receive final approval on the FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application. Please see the August 6 email that was sent to Superintendents, ESEA Coordinators, and Business Managers or the History Log of the application for additional information.

Unsolicited Calls - Posing as LINQ (8/5/2025)

Please be cautious of unsolicited calls claiming to be from LINQ representatives. LINQ has informed the Maine Department of Education (Maine DOE) of a recent sophisticated robocall campaign. If you receive a call from anyone claiming to be affiliated with LINQ, please reach out to your Maine DOE contact immediately to report the outreach.
