Announcements
ESEA FY26 Consolidated Application (delayed funding) (7/1/2025)

The ESEA Federal Programs team is alerting you to a few changes in the fiscal year (FY) 2026 ESEA Consolidated Application due to the U.S. Department of Education’s (USED) delayed release of Title II (Supporting Effective Instruction), Title III (Language Instruction for English Learners), and Title IV, Part A (Student Support and Academic Enrichment) the FY26 ESEA Application. More information available in the PRIORITY NOTICE: Delay in Grant Award Notifications for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Please note that the $100 placeholders along with the preliminary allocations for Title IV have been removed from the school administrative unit (SAU) FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application. Since the funding is under review and has yet to be awarded to the Maine Department of Education (DOE), the ESEA team is unable to provide substantial and/or final approval of the Titles under review.

We encourage you to continue working on your project narratives and detailed budgets for Title I, Part A, and (if applicable) Title V in your FY26 ESEA Consolidated Application. The Maine DOE has received the final Grant Award Notification from the USED for these funds.
