As the current school year nears its end, the fiscal team would like to remind you of some key IDEA dates and deadlines.
FY2024 IDEA 611 & 619
- IDEA FY24 funds must be obligated no later than September 30, 2025.
- IDEA FY24 invoices must be submitted in an approvable form via Grants4ME no later than December 15, 2025.
- IDEA FY24 invoices submitted October 1 – December 15, 2025, must contain backup documentation for all expenses being invoiced.
- IDEA FY24 funds not invoiced in an approvable form by December 15, 2025, will lapse and no longer be available.
This early notice is intended to serve as a reminder that submitted invoices must be fully processed and paid before a subsequent invoice can be submitted via Grants4ME. Districts awarded $250,000 or more in IDEA funds are required to submit monthly IDEA invoices, while those awarded less than $250,000 are required to submit at least quarterly. Please make note of this timeline and plan accordingly. FY24 funds not invoiced by December 15, 2025, will lapse with no opportunity for extension.
