The Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Performance Report is a collection of information that supports the U.S. Department of Education’s Education Stabilization Fund Transparency Portal.
Please note the ESSER Performance Report for fiscal years (FY) 2024 and 2025 contain specific questions related to each individual ESSER subgrant (i.e., CRRSA and ARP) and questions related to all subgrant funds (i.e. ESSER). The performance report period expenditures must align with the Federal Grant Reimbursement System (GEMS) and the SAU's financial system. The ESSER Performance Report is due on May 5, 2025.
Completion of the ESSER Performance Report will require significant time, attention and collaboration between the ESSER coordinator and business office personnel. The information collected in this performance report will include expenditures by accounting objects and activities in addition to funding reserved to address learning loss through specific activities or interventions. To ensure the ESSER Performance Report is completed by the applicable deadline with accurate information, it is imperative that work commence promptly. The ESSER Performance Report is due on May 5, 2025, and will be available in GEMS (https://www.4pcamaine.org/).
